Re: High Ping and Latency with every game
Could be the adapters that are the issue. Try plugging one of the laptops in to the modem directly using ethernet (Preferrably test it with the cables you are using to plug into the adapters and the...

G'day Shelly, Thanks for your response. I appreciate it as I had almost lost hope that this would ever be fixed. Probably the greatest source of frustration was that even when I gave any the of the...

If you are trying to use an UPS to give you services during a blackout on FTTN, my understanding is that the nodes also need power so even if you have a UPS it might not actually help you.

Hi Shelly. That would potentially solve my problem, but It is going to be a huge pain in the backside as I would have to pull down my security cameras and connect them to my network via cat5 as they...

There are a couple of things to consider. Are you on an FTTN or FTTP connection? If you are on a FTTN connection, it is not really worth investing in a UPS as the signal disappears during a blackout...

It could be that there is a bug, however this will require investigation and for it to be referred back to the vendor. This process can take months, so you may need to look for an alternate solution....

We have the same issue and unfortunately do not have a corded phone. The cordless phone works perfectly when connected directly to the phone jack.

Hi all, first time posting! I currently have Cable, and I have been receiving letters saying that I need to swap over to the NBN. I have very good Cable speeds at $93 per month for 500GB. Now, if I go...

The download is slightly slower, but the upload is significantly faster. Standard Cable is 30/1, Standard NBN on Telstra is 25/5,So you lose 5Mbps of Download but your Upload becomes 5x faster. It is a...

Odds are that you will probably end up with FTTN instead. You won't get confirmation until NBN constructs the network in your area. From what has been happening with the rollout, they are more likely...

View ArticleRe: HFC NBN for Colyton NSW but no cable in street
No, with FTTN you get a node much closer, even at worst case you should be able to get at least 25/5 speeds on FTTN even if you are away from the node.
