Hi all, first time posting! I currently have Cable, and I have been receiving letters saying that I need to swap over to the NBN. I have very good Cable speeds at $93 per month for 500GB. Now, if I go to the NBN, I would be on the same plan, but the speeds would be less than what I currently get with Cable (at least according to the speeds listed here ).
Is this correct? Will I be paying the same amount of money for a slower service? I have to change to the NBN because they will cut off other internet in my area... so my concern is that I'm being forced into a slower service. Do Telstra offer any sort of compensation for this kind of thing? It just seems wrong to have to pay for a lesser service.
