Signed up for NBN 23rd of December - here we are in March not connected. Finally got our modem & notice we are apparently connected today.
I rang earlier on in the week and said I had checked our confirmation email & the home phone number written on there to switch over looked like it was plucked out of the air! I told our "case manager" Marbello our real number & was told that it couldn't be our number as there was no record of it - it has been our number for 7 years! He said he would have to cancel our upcoming connection & we would have to wait again. I told him I would rather make a complaint. I made my 3rd formal complaint of this saga, and no one has contacted me yet.
Receive email today that we are now connected, plug in our box & go. Except I plug in, connect the wifi - no internet. No home phone light in gateway either. I have nothing. Log into gateway it says broadband connected, it also keep opening our old provider iinet saying our username is incorrect - has Telstra forgotten to disconnect us from iinet as promised? I am at a loss.....typing this whilst on hold with Telstra, using mobile not connected to Telstra
