Thanks for checking. All phone services provisioned through FTTN will be VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol).
Most telephone equipment will work without issue on the NBN FTTN (Fibre to the Node) voice service. If you’ve got an older phone (like a dial/rotary phone), a back to base alarm system, medical alert, emergency call system or old fax machine you’ll need to check with the manufacturer if it will work on the NBN.
As long as your phone is connected to the Green Voice port on your modem it should work. If the phone lights on the front of the Gateway are green, and your phone is connected correctly but it's still not working please contact our Technical Support on 1800 TFIBRE (1800 834 273) so that they can investigate this further.
