Modem Fault

I have been on the phone for 1 1/2 hours trying to get connected to your fault department. I reiceved an NBN modem about 2 weeks ago. It has stopped working . I have no Wi-Fi or ethernet. i swappe d over my old modem with was a T- Gateway and it is working ok. The new modem was a Gateway Max , I reconnected the old modem and got WiFi and ethernet, i reconnected the Gateway Max, please advise as to what you want me to do. i have asked for a call back but i have not heard from Telstra
