How long are people waiting to get NBN orders finalised?

I have had my NBN order in the Telstra system for over 3 weeks now. I am no closer to getting this finished, than if I were a customer who had not placed an order.

I am getting told different information, depending on the department who answers my call. From "your order is progressing" to "your order has been cancelled on the system." Now, I have been on the phone for hours, been into stores, emailed and also put in half a dozen complaints about this. Still no resolution.

 

In fact, I did have a technician appointment - for someone to come to the house and connect the NBN inside by house, but Telstra cancelled the order. No phone call from my Case Manager to inform me of changes. From that point, nothing heard from Telstra. Complaints person is telling me "your order is progressing", but, when I ring the NBN connections team, they tell me that there is no order progessing, because the Complaints Dept. has my order, so no action can be done.

 

So, how long are other people waiting to have their NBN order finished?? It seems that I'm getting fed a load of crap lines and being jerked around. Any other people also being affected by Telstra when trying to convert to NBN?
