thank you for the great tech tip. my phone was not working either but other functions ok. NBN just installed 3 days ago and no help from telstra. was on hold for 2hrs and gave up. had another problem as well with internet connection and crowd support was able to solve the problem, again no help from telstra after hour and a half waiting with that anoying music in my ear. well done to all those who provide help on this site.
