So the NBN has gone down on me again.
Last week, on Friday I lost 3 hours paid work ( I do online stuff).
After the up and down over the past few days (it's been a tad unstable), I managed OK.
This evening it's out again.
So, I have set up my phone as a hotpsot so my laptop can connect.
I'm not downloading, watching Netflix or Presto or anything else other than working my 3 hours. I estimate this will be a max of 2 GB of data.
When my phone goes over it's data cap (it will), it will automatically add more data.
I intend to ask for a rebate on my next bill. I will explain why, along with the dates required.
I'm not 100% sure I will get anything done successfully, but I need the data NOW not next month when I already have a 1TB data cap, and I NEVER go near it.
Don't do as I do unless you want to take the risk to test it.
I don't intend to miss out on another 3 hours paid work because of Telstra's stuff up (and it IS a stuff-up).
