My mother had the NBN installed about 2 months ago. For the first time ever she went over her data allowance and the speeds slowed to a crawl. The account was paid and still the speed has never returned.
I did a speed test today and the download was 30kbps and the upload was 4kbps.
She would have been better staying with ADSL. I powered down the NBN box as well as the router. No change was detected in the speed. I waited on the phone for 45 minutes this morning and have been on the phone for 30 minutes as I type this to report the problem.
How does my mum get faster speeds? She is paying for a service that Telstra is not able to deliver.
I guess this means Telstra is in breach of the 2 year contract she signed.
