Re: NBN Outage 13/1/15

NBN still out - NO Attempt by Telstra or NBN to visit my house or node to resolve for 6 weeks so far out of 8 weeks connected to No Broadband Network.

 

Told to stay home today between 8 and 12.  So i did.

 

Techinican rang and hung up at 750am.

Didn't try again. I didn't see he rang and never noticed missed call.

He didn't turn up at 8.

 

Rang him at 10. Didn't answer or return call.

Rang him at around 11. He answered and said no way is he coming to my house now because i didn't answer him at 750am.

 

Tie mobile phone around your neck everyone if you are supposed to have someone attend cause they won't turn up.

 

He also said he wouldn't have done anything anyway because my "pair jumper info was not sent to him"

He also returned my phone.

 

 

NBN is a money making machine and this is starting to sound like mega fraud.

 

Does he gets paid because he made "an attempt to contact me" (not much of one) and sends job back. How much do they get paid for each returned job!

 

 

1) TEAM 1 job is to connect new people up but to save time they are disconnecting people so the guy on (1) has a job. They do more connections and aren't penalised for disconnecting existing users. (much quicker to just "tap" into existing connections to get pay day)

 

2) TEAM 2 job is to fix disconnections only. They spend all thier time driving around and tracing back wiring from houses to the nodes.  He also sends back jobs he couldn't be bothered with or can't do and makes customers wait another 3 weeks. Got another appointment 2 days away but wasted today. They first tried to give me another 3 weeks but I refused 3 weeks away.

 

Customer without internet for 60 days out of 80. 

 

Thats $300 coming in for Telco and although tens of phone calls each week- no support nor do techs turn up leaving me sitting at home and taking unnecessary leave without pay.

 

Customer sits without internet - no benefit to customer.

Technicians from team 1 - steady pay check. Part of monthly charge above.

Technicians from team 2  - steady pay check. Part of monthly charge above.

Telcos' - get the monthly fee and ONCE customer is connected, if some of them don't complain then thats free money!

 

Rotate around between team 2 and 1 and what do you get???

 

Team 1 are keeping team 2 busy - making the techo's LOTS of money!

 

I'm out of comms for months, my bills get sent to me even though i have no service (even though TIO said they aren't allowed to bill me but billed me same day i made complaint 3 weeks ago).

 

 

Has happened to me twice (and others in Cameron Park numerous times over past 3 months)

 

So far 60 days out of 80 out with the same symptoms - disconnection and an updated email address of someone else on my modem
