Does that email have an order number (should start with 1-x and be about 11 long), if you have that than the support team on 1800 TFIBRE (1800 834 273) should be able to find the order, regardless of...

hi, anyone know if Telstra can do a line test before signing you up to NBN. I signed up and they said i can get 100/40 on fttn, but when i called up again i got a different story
View ArticleRe: nbn fttn
My understanding is that no, it is not possible to give you a line speed until the connection happens... FTTN can support speeds up to 100/40 but it depends on where the node is.

Thanks Yastiandrie But i don't think its a central filter. Its just the normal in-lin filter that was hanging outside the wall socket. When the telstra guy came over, he said he would put it inside the...
View ArticleRe: fttn nbn in-line filter/spliter
With a central filter you will have a wall socket with two ports, one from ADSL and one for Phone The filter itself is not needed for FTTN but it shouldn't cause any issue
