Hello Luvs_footie,
Thanks for the quick reply.
As many people would come to expect from large construction plans there will be variations in the estimated/expected schedule and the actual reality of the schedule. I am unconcerned with that side of things because I know things can go wrong or sometimes even overestimated etc which seems to be the case as both the nbn co rollout map and :https://www.finder.com.au/nbn-tracker/sa/6BNB say it is ready for service with nbn-tracker further adding work commenced october 2015 and ready as of 27th may 2016.
Connection is indeed close, relatively, if you consider how close the houses are that are currently connected and have been for awhile. I can literally throw a rcok onto the rooves of the houses around me that are connected to the nbn, both across the road as well as this side of hudson road. This again is not hugely concerning in and of itself, but when you add the length of time since "service available" and there being an nbn co goal set at 90% connected before they can say the area is ready with no addendums or footnotes about the left over 10%.
I fully understand the rest of the street could be ready as soon as tomorrow, but that is based solely on blind possibilities and not on any hard facts which are in very short supply.
