Ok. So dont let Telstra push you round. If you have a complaint number go straight to the ombudsman. Telstra will just drag everything out at their pace until it starts to cost them money.

By going to the ombudsman it will continue to be escalated.

Document everything. How many drop outs you are aware of. How long you're offline. Is your phone also offline. How much its costing your business. Refuse to pay any of your nbn bills until it is fixed. If its not fixed within 30 days escalate to the ombudsman again. And again.

Demand to be let out of your contract if they cannot fix the problem. They can provide you with a reference number to cancel any early exit fees if the problem is not solved and you need to go to another provider to get a reliable service.

As soon as youre able, go to another provider and tell them upfront about the problems youve had with Telstra. I did all the above and am now connected to Optus with a perfect connection that never drops out.
