I tried with the WAN cable unplugged - same result unfortunately.
Another helpful soul at whirlpool.net.au suggested the following:
The backup dongle that I bought did not come with the DOT NBN Bundle.
The DOT back up dongle needs it's sim serial number entered in commpilot, for it to be recognised and work.
Not sure if it is accessible at administrator level. Suspect only at ISP level.
May have to call faults and have them set it up properly.
Can you help with this - the SIM Details are:
