So I have received my Telstra Gateway Max in the mail.
We have a what I believe is a fibre to building and fibre to node equipment setup.
our NBN box is in the garage and underneath the box is 2 telephone sockets.
Upstairs on the 3rd level of our townhouse is the telephone socket where our modem should sit.
i have tried numerous set ups but can't seem to get the right one for the Wifi, phone and Internet to work.
in the interim. Have plugged the modem in downstairs Red cable in the UDI socket on the box and into the red socket in the modem and I works fine.
Do I need another red cable to plug in downstairs from UDI 1 socket to the telephone socket under the box and then set up modem upstairs with red cable to the red socket in modem and the other end in the telephone socket in the wall?
