ok i'll try and work through this post backwards.

Churning:

yes its normally possible

infastructure:

as you stated in your previous post about internode, iinet, tpg, well i hate to be the bearer of bad news but issues have been popping up for Telstra and Optus Customers it seems.

- speed

-dropouts

then on another tech forum it also seems that NBN co are able to mess with your ports and may do so if your not running the specific ISP modems on the NBN (probably why Telstra is insisting to customers that they must have their modem connected and not try 3rd party modems).

as for NBN wireless i am not 100% sure but do believe there maybe 2 versions of this, after what you posted.  it wouldnt surprise me given that there were differences of opinions between Labour and Liberals roll out models and it still seems a bit of a mess anyway.

The NBN wireless that i was aware of (or my understanding of) at the time was that they were groupoling small communties together (whether this be by cable or a wireless unit) and pumping all that traffic to a central location (call it an exchange if you like) that was then uploaded via sat to somewhere else (downloaded) in the network for that internet traffic to continue on its merry way. On this basis of my understanding then my previous post stands.

if it is different then it is different but considering im in an island of ADSL2 (fixed line) in a sea of NBN fixed wireless allthe small towns that surround my town im struggling to see that im wrong but I well could be.
